This canyon is an action packed natural water park. There are lots of abseils, slides and jumps, with the highest jump being 9 meters (jumps are optional and can be abseiled). This is followed by a spectacular hike out through Teno nature reserve with spectacular views.
For this canyon a good level of fitness is required (practice some type of sport on a regular basis). The hike back up is a challenge for people with vertigo as it is often on the edge of the cliff. It is also necessary to be able to swim.
This canyon is located on the far west corner of Tenerife in a small local farming village in Teno nature reserve where you can still find traditional cave houses that are still inhabited. Special permission from the government is required to enter this canyon and only 15 people a day are allowed in, making it a unique and special experience.
